ScavBot begins
The working name of this job is ScavBot. Due to the generosity and vision of the Tasmanian Community Fund, we are creating an iPhone application that takes users on a scavenger hunt around Australia’s second oldest botanic gardens. The project is spear-headed by The TMAGgots, and being developed by Poco People and Bluehat Design in collaboration with the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and of course, the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.
The target audience is people in their 20s and 30s. We aim to provide a contemporary and engaging interpretive tool for younger people, to allow them to connect with the art, history and science of this beautiful institution.
At the moment we are in content development stage, which means we are literally walking the different paths of the gardens and talking about what content will work, and how we can cater to different user groups. I took these photos on my iPhone, which seemed fitting!
More to come on this exciting project!
